The Strategic Plan of our University has been adopted by the Institute of Educational Sciences. The strategic plan was created by MAKÜ Strategy Development and Department Directorate for the years 2022-2026 and published on the website (Evidence 1). In the prepared plan, 5 Strategic Goals and 5 Objectives have been determined.
The mission and vision of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Institute of Educational Sciences, and therefore its strategic goals and objectives, have been shared with internal and external stakeholders on the institute's website (Evidence 2). On the institute's website, it is emphasized that the primary goal of our institute is to conduct postgraduate studies in the field of teacher training, to carry out research and projects, and to contribute to the more effective and efficient functioning of the system by mediating the training of personnel in the quantity and quality required by the Turkish and World Education System, thus contributing to the development of society. It is also emphasized that the institute aims to provide, conduct, and develop postgraduate education and research activities at all levels of education, adhering to Atatürk's Principles and Reforms, and to train faculty members who will contribute to the accumulation of universal knowledge at national and international levels. In this context, it is seen that the primary goals of the Institute of Educational Sciences are aligned with the 2022-2026 Strategic Plan of our university and the Mission, Vision, and Quality Policy of our institute as stated in part 3 of this report.
